Finally home after 2 months of wandering slowly from Toronto to Paris to Montreal, I'm waiting for my laundry to dry before taking off with my neglected husband on an almost totally unplanned road trip. All we know is that we're taking a west-bound route, and like a rubber band stretched to its limit, we'll bounce back home at the halfway point of our week away.
The shedding dog is in the care of my nephew, the Honda Element is serviced and full of gas, the cooler is full of ice and beer and juice, and the husband is all ready to go, of course. I've decided that there will never be a better time for me to write blog posts than when I should be doing something else.
